Safety Training for Ratings

This is a 3-day course covering topics such as personal protective equipment, security at sea, engine room operations, code of safe working practices, mooring operation, permit to work system, oil tanker/cargo operation, MLC & work rest hours, marpol content for ratings, and galley safety and hygiene.

The course features accident investigations of injuries to the crew at sea, demonstrated through pictorial representations and videos.

Practical equipment is also used to illustrate certain aspects of the training, while role plays, discussions, and debates are held to examine accidents and ways to prevent them.

The course requires a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 participants.
